Step one: Configure company settings
Before inviting users, establish your global preferences to ensure a consistent experience.
- Click your profile in the top right and select Administration.
- Click Company in the left menu.
- Click Media Library to upload your company logo.
- Click Presentations to set default player themes, security protocols, and guestbook fields.

Step two: Build your folder structure
Folders keep your content organized and secure. You can build up to four levels of parent and child folders.
- Click Folders in the left menu.
- Click Add Folder to create your directories.
- Click Permissions next to a folder to assign viewer, author, or administrator access.

Step three: Create groups and add users
We recommend creating user groups before adding individual accounts. Groups allow you to assign folder permissions and course enrollments to multiple people at once.
- Click Groups in the left menu and select Add Group.
- Click Users, then select Manage Users to add individuals manually.
- To add people in bulk, download the User Bulk Upload spreadsheet, fill it out, and process it using the Brainshark Batch Upload Utility.

Step four: Set up learning and coaching
Configure your formal training and practice environments.
- Click Learning in the left menu to define course types, learning topics, and enrollment settings.
- Click Coaching to establish score criteria, default feedback categories, and leaderboard preferences.

Step five: Monitor performance
Track user engagement and training progress to ensure your team is succeeding.
- Click the Reporting tab at the top of your account.
- Run the Viewing Details by Presentation report to see exactly who watched your content and for how long.
- Run the Course Enrollment report to monitor formal learning completions and scores.
