Manage coaching leaderboards

Allow peers to learn from top-performing submissions by enabling coaching leaderboards. Leaderboards let coaches rank and display the top submissions from participants in a specific activity. This helps foster a healthy sense of competition and showcases best practices. Administrators can enable leaderboards site-wide, while activity creators can enable them for specific coaching activities.

Do this step by step

A leaderboard ranks participants in an activity by their coach's score, with the highest first. If a participant submits multiple entries, only their highest score appears.

Enable leaderboards for your site:

  1. Click your user icon in the top right corner and select Administration.
  2. In the left menu, click Coaching and select Coaching settings.
  3. In the Leaderboards section, check the box to Enable leaderboards.
  4. Check the box next to each Leaderboard setting you want to enable:
    • Coaches can disable a coaching activity's leaderboard: Allow creators to turn off the leaderboard for their coaching activity.
    • Enable scores in leaderboards: Displays coaching activity participants’ scores on leaderboards.
    • Coaches can disable scores on leaderboards: Creators can hide scores on the leaderboard. When creators hide scores, participants can only see their own.
  5. Click Save to store your changes.

Enable the leaderboard on a coaching activity:

Note: A Company Administrator must enable leaderboards for your site before the option becomes available at the activity level.

  1. Click the Coaching tab.
  2. Locate the activity, click the three dot menu on the right, and select Edit.
  3. Click the More tab.
  4. Toggle the setting to enable the Leaderboards for the activity.
  5. Check the box next to each Leaderboard setting you want to enable:
    • Peer feedback: Allow participants to submit feedback to peer submissions that display on the leaderboard.
    • Scores: Displays the participant's scores on the leaderboard.
    • Submissions: Choose how to limit which submissions appear:
      • Submissions with scores greater or equal to [X]%: Enter a minimum score. Only submissions at or above this score appear on the leaderboard.
      • The top [X] submissions: Enter a number. Only the highest-scoring submissions up to this count appear.
    • Disable Leaderboard visibility before submission: Hide the leaderboard from participants until they’ve submitted their activity.
  6. Click Save.
