Designate a content approval folder

Setting up a content approval folder allows you to mandate that any content modifications made by authors require formal approval before going live. This ensures that all updates are reviewed by a Folder Administrator, helping you maintain quality control and brand consistency across your training materials.

Key features

  • Maintain quality control over published materials
  • Require formal approval for any author modifications
  • Ensure brand consistency before content goes live

You need this to succeed

  • Plan: Bigtincan Authoring, Bigtincan Elite, Bigtincan Essential, Bigtincan Standard, or Bigtincan Standard Plus
  • Roles and Privileges: Company Administrator or Folder Administrator

Do this step by step

  1. Click your profile name in the top right corner.
  2. Select Administration.
  3. Click Folders and select Edit folder from the menu on the left.
  4. Find the folder you want to edit and click properties.
  5. Check the box for Content in this folder requires approval.
  6. Click Submit to save your changes.

Note: Once this setting is enabled, any changes made by a content author will remain hidden from viewers until a Folder Administrator reviews and approves the updates.
