Manage the company media library

The media library allows you to upload and store company-wide assets, such as your default company logo and background audio files. This ensures your authors have access to approved branding and audio options for their presentations, creating a consistent viewer experience across your organization.

Key features

  • Upload a default company logo for your Brainshark site
  • Link your company logo to an external website
  • Provide company-approved background audio files for authors

You need this to succeed

  • Plan: Bigtincan Authoring, Bigtincan Basic Learning, Bigtincan Basic Readiness, Bigtincan Elite, Bigtincan Essential, Bigtincan Readiness, Bigtincan Standard, or Bigtincan Standard Plus
  • Permissions: Company Administrator

Do this step by step

The uploaded company logo is displayed in multiple places across the platform. To fit in the header, in the top left of the app, the logo will be scaled down by 30%.

  1. Click your profile drop-down menu and select Administration.
  2. Click Company in the left-hand menu.
  3. Select Media Library, then click Company Logo.
  4. Update the following properties based on your company’s needs:
    • Upload Company Logo: Click Choose file to locate the image file on your device. Your company logo can be a GIF, PNG, or JPG image that is 174 pixels wide by 56 pixels high. This size avoids distortion.
    • Company Web Link: Enter a valid URL in the Company Web Link field to launch a specific website, like your company homepage, when viewers click your logo.
  5. Click Save to apply your changes.

Add background audio

  1. Click your profile drop-down menu and select Administration.
  2. Click Company in the left-hand menu.
  3. Select Media Library, then click Background Audio.

Note: This option is only available if background audio is enabled for your company.

  4. Click Add to open the file browser. Select an MP3 background audio file with a maximum file size of 200MB.
  5. After uploading, enable the Availability toggle to make the audio file accessible across the organization.
  6. Authors can then select the shared audio from the Company Library when managing presentation audio.
