Set company-wide presentation properties

Configuring company-wide presentation properties lets you set default settings and define available features for all presentations created on your Brainshark site. This helps you standardize options like background audio, offline viewing, and viewer feedback across your organization.

  • Plan: Bigtincan Authoring, Bigtincan Basic Learning, Bigtincan Basic Readiness, Bigtincan Elite, Bigtincan Essential, Bigtincan Readiness, Bigtincan Standard, or Bigtincan Standard Plus
  • Roles and privileges: Company Administrator

Do this step by step

  1. Click your profile drop-down menu and select Administration.
  2. Click Company in the left-hand menu.
  3. Select Presentations, then click Properties.
  4. Update the following properties based on your company’s needs:
    • Author per slide: Allows authors to set a specific author for each slide in a presentation.
    • Email receipts on URL: Send email notifications when a presentation URL is accessed. You can configure email receipts to be sent both before and after the presentation is viewed.
    • Background audio: Allow authors to add background audio in presentations and grant authors permission to upload their own background audio files.
    • Save uploaded PPT files: Allow authors to save uploaded PPT files as attachments in a presentation.
    • Offline viewing: Allows users to download content to their devices for access without an internet connection.
    • Comments: Allow users to leave comments on presentations in the content portal and allow authors to override your settings. 
    • Rating: Allow users to rate the presentations in the content portal and allow authors to override your settings.
    • Rename “Featured Content” Label: If you wish to rename ‘Featured Content’, toggle this option on and enter a new label in the text field.
  5. Click Save to apply your changes.
