The quick way

1. Run the User Data report from Reporting > Administration.
2. Find the Source column in your results.
3. Match the value against the reference table below.

Do this step by step

The User Data report lists profile field data for every user, including signup date, last visit date, content creation stats, and enrollment data.

1. To run the User Data report, navigate to the Reporting tab.
2. From the left menu, select Administration.
3. Locate User Data in the list of available reports and click Edit.
4. Configure the report contents, schedule, date range, and output format. See Run standard reports for detailed steps.
5. Click Run report.

Note: The User Data report also includes columns for Username, First Name, Last Name, Department, Company E-Mail, IsActive, Admin, Signup Date, Last Visit Date, User Company, Title, Manager Name, Phone Number, Requesting Author, Guest Owner, and Edit Guest.

What the Source column shows

Source: where a user was registered or created from. Most commonly, this shows which self-registration template created the user.

For self-registered users, the Source column shows the ID of the self-registration template, taken from the registration URL. For example, a registration URL like 

https://www.brainshark.com/COMPANYNAME/register/1?581128 

produces a Source value of 

581128

For users created another way, the Source column shows one of the values below.
