What do I do after I receive a guest audio request invitation email?

When a Presentation Author creates the Guest Audio request, the guest audio recorder will receive an invitation email. Please see the information below with how to record guest audio:

In the guest audio request invitation email, the guest will see two links:

  • The first link in the email is a tutorial that guides users through how to record audio
  • The second link in the email will bring the guest to the presentation where they will be able to record audio.

To record the audio, the guest needs to click the second link on this email, as displayed in the screen-shot below:

    • mceclip0.png
  • They will be brought to the Guest Authoring Checklist Page which will show one of the two options for if this presentation has audio added to some or all the slides or if it has no audio.

If the presentation has no audio added:

  • The guest will see the screen as shown below after clicking the link in the email
    • mceclip2.png
  • The guest has to select how they would like to record the audio via Microphone or Phone.

  • After the guest completes the audio recording, click Complete

If the presentation has audio added to some or all the slides:

  • The guest will be brought to the page as shown below after clicking the link in the email:
    • mceclip1.png
  • On this page, the guest will see the following 3 options:
    • View - This will allow the guest to view the presentation and hear the existing audio
    • Re-record - This will allow the guest to record audio
    • Complete- After the guest completes the audio recording, click Complete
  • To record audio, the guest needs to select the second option, Re-record
  • The guest then needs to select how they would like to record the audio via Microphone or Phone.
  • After the guest completes the audio recording, click Complete
