How Brainshark supports accessibility
For users with visual disabilities
The presentation interface can scale to accommodate minor vision impairment. When a visual presentation isn't an option, viewers can listen to the presentation through a computer or other digital media device instead.
For users with hearing disabilities
Brainshark works with assistive devices and amplifiers already in place. When audio isn't an option, viewers get the visual presentation, and Brainshark can include a hyperlink to the source narrative script so they can read along while watching.
For users with physical disabilities
Physical disabilities and health-related issues can create barriers to attending regularly scheduled, on-site training sessions. On-demand playback lets your workforce complete training on their own time and from any location.
Note: Accessibility is an ongoing process. Brainshark continues to maintain and increase accessibility by adhering to the latest WCAG and W3C standards and guidelines.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and W3C technologies are the standards most developers of accessible websites use. Brainshark is committed to conforming to level AA of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, which explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities.
