If your company has the Content Download functionality enabled, Company Administrators can designate users who have access to download presentations or courses into MP4 file format through the Content Download options. This article will detail the process to generate the MP4 video files through Modern Authoring.
- To download a presentation for the first time
- To download a presentation after the MP4 has been generated previously
- To download a presentation again after content edits are made
To download a presentation for the first time:
- Navigate to the Modern Edit mode of the presentation you'd like to download.
- Select the three dots (Ellipses) toward the top right of the player.
- Select Export in the drop-down, followed by Export Video.
- A small window will open and will notify the requester if the video has been generated previously
- Select Export to generate the MP4.
- The requester will receive an email once exporting is finished. The email will be sent to the exact email address associated with the Brainshark profile. You can close this dialog window in the meantime.

- Select the three dots (Ellipses) toward the top right of the player.
- Select Export in the drop-down, followed by Export Video.

Notes:
- Any Mp4 file that is shared is completely separate from Brainshark. There is no way to report on viewing data for an Mp4 file.
- MP4 files are not automatically updated when changed to content are made. If an updated file is needed, a new MP4 will need to be generated.
- If you do not have access to the Content Download option in your account, you will need to reach to your Company Administrator to request access.
- Closed captions will not be included in the downloaded video file.
