How do I create a presentation from an existing course in Modern Authoring?

Sometimes authors may need to create a presentation from an existing course, such as when wanting to share the content outside of Brainshark. 

Content authors can create a new presentation from an existing course using the Import Slides tool.

To create a new presentation from an existing course:

  1. Navigate to Content, then choose My Content.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Choose your presentation title and the Folder you would like to add it to, then click Create.
  4. Click the Add slides button, then choose Import slides and Brainshark.

  5. Search in the Source dropdown for the course you would like to use to create your new presentation. Note: both presentations and courses will appear in this list. Courses appear with a book icon ()and presentations have a projector screen icon ().
  6. Once your course is selected, you will see a list of its slides appear on the left. You can check the topmost box to select and import all slides, or you can check which individual slides you would like to import to your new presentation.


  7. Click Insert and make any slide name edits you want and click Apply.
  8. Click Save to imported the selected slides to your new presentation.
