The Importance of File Format Extensions

When creating assets, Generator listens for file format extensions in the layer names.

File format extensions are very important. If a layer name does not contain a file format extension, Generator will ignore the layer.

Below example illustrates how a file, was automatically generated from a Photoshop layer:

This same approach can be applied to a group of layers by using a file format extension in the name of the group. This is helpful when working with more complex graphics.
