Set an expiration date for a presentation

Ensure your audience only views the most current information. Set an expiration date to automatically deactivate a presentation at a specific date and time. After the expiration, viewers can no longer access the presentation.

You need this to succeed

  • Plan: Bigtincan Authoring, Bigtincan Elite, Bigtincan Essential, Bigtincan Standard, or Bigtincan Standard Plus
  • Roles and Privileges: Content author, folder administrator, or company administrator

Do this step by step

  1. Navigate to the Content tab.
  2. On the My Content tab, view Presentations.
  3. Hover over your presentation, click the three dot menu, and select Edit.
  4. Click the gear icon in the top right corner to open Settings.
  5. Click the General tab.
  6. Under the Visibility section, toggle on the Expiration Date switch.
  7. Set an Expiration Date and Time.
  8. To notify specific people when the presentation expires, enter their email addresses in the Email field. You can add multiple email addresses, separated with commas.
  9. Click Save.
