Create a presentation from an existing course

Brainshark allows you to convert an existing course into a standard presentation using the import slides option. Creating a presentation from an existing course is useful when you need to share training content outside of the platform or repurpose material for a different audience.

You need this to succeed

  • Plan: Bigtincan Authoring, Bigtincan Essential, Bigtincan Standard, Bigtincan Standard Plus, or Bigtincan Elite
  • Roles & Privileges: Author or Administrator
  • Folder Permissions: Author for at least one folder
  • Prerequisites: An existing course in the Brainshark instance

Do this step by step

  1. Click Content and select My Content.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Enter a presentation title, choose a Folder, then click Create.
  4. Click Slides on the top left or the Add slides button in the center, select Import slides, then select Brainshark.
  5. Search for the course you want to use in the Source drop-down menu.

    Note: Both presentations and courses appear in this list. Select the topmost checkbox to import all slides, or select individual slides to import.

  6. Click Insert, make any slide name edits, and click Apply.
  7. Click Save to import the selected slides to your new presentation.
