- Roles & Privileges: Content Author, Learning Author, Folder Administrator, or Company Administrator
- Prerequisites: You must have the user privilege to create questions
Do this step by step
- To add Survey question slides in your existing presentations, click Content in the top menu and select My Content.
- Search and filter your Presentations to locate the presentation you'd like to edit.
- Click the three dot button on the presentation and select Edit.
- Click the Slides drop-down menu and select Question.
- On the Question and answers tab, click Survey under the Type section.
Select a specific format from the Format drop-down menu. The available formats include:
- Multiple choice (choose one only): Identify the best possible response
- Multiple choice (choose one or more): Select all answers that apply
- True or false: Gauge users belief on a statement by declaring if it’s true or false
- Essay (custom response): Capture open-ended feedback
- Ranking: Organize a list of items based on perceived value.
- Rating: Evaluate using a quick numerical or star-based scale.
- Likert Scale: Measure the intensity toward a specific topic.
Note: The Multiple choice (choose one only) and Multiple choice (choose one or more) question format gives option to Include text input field with last answer provided and Allow viewers to update their response after submitting. While other formats only Allow viewers to update their response after submitting.
- Type your text in the Question box.
- Type your choices in the Answers section, if applicable for your chosen format.
Click the Branching tab to control the viewer's navigation path based on their answer, if desired.
- Next slide: This option directs the viewer to the next slide in the presentation.
- Slide: This option brings the viewer to a different slide within the existing presentation.
- Presentation: This option closes the current Brainshark presentation and brings the viewer to a completely different Brainshark presentation.
- URL: This option closes the current Brainshark presentation and redirects the viewer to another web link.
Note: Only the Multiple choice (choose one only) format allows branching for the survey question type.
- Click the Template tab to customize Appearance by selecting a background color or matching player theme.
- Click Create to add the slide to your presentation.
Note: The Points and feedback tab is not available for the survey question slide.
