Add attachments and web links to a presentation

Adding supplemental resources provides your viewers with helpful details that complement your training content. You can attach downloadable files or embed web links directly into the presentation player for easy access.

You need this to succeed

  • Plan: Bigtincan Basic Content, Bigtincan Content, Bigtincan Elite, Bigtincan Essential, Bigtincan Standard, Bigtincan Standard Plus
  • Roles and Privileges: Author
  • Folder Permissions: Author for at least one folder
  • Prerequisites: Files to attach or link to web asset

Do this step by step

Open the presentation editor

  1. To add attachments and web links to your existing presentations, click Content in the top menu and select My Content.
  2. Search and filter your Presentations to locate the presentation you'd like to edit.
  3. Click the three dot button on the presentation and select Edit.

Add an attachment to your presentation

  1. Click Tools at the top of the page.
  2. Select Manage assets.
    • Select the Upload file. Add a Title, then click Browse to locate the file, or drag and drop it into the box. Click Add to add the attachment.
    • Select the Add link. Add a Title, then paste the URL. Click Add to add to the web reference.

Tip: You can click the Presentation attachments tab to control which assets appear as downloadable attachments in the player.

Add an attachment to a specific slide

  1. Locate the slide where you want to add notes on the left side panel.
  2. Click the Attachment tab in the Slide properties panel on the top right side of the screen.
  3. Click Add attachment.
    • Select the Upload file. Add a Title, then click Browse to locate the file, or drag and drop it into the box. Click Save to add the attachment.
    • Select the Attach link. Add a Title, then paste the link to a web reference. Click Add to save the link.
  4. Click Manage assets to add attachments from already existing assets in the presentation.
