Enable sharing and embed codes for a presentation

Allowing users to share and embed your presentation expands your audience reach. You can control whether users can generate a direct link, send an email invitation, or copy the HTML embed code to place the presentation on external websites.

You need this to succeed

  • Plan: Bigtincan Basic Content, Bigtincan Content, Bigtincan Elite, Bigtincan Essential, Bigtincan Standard, Bigtincan Standard Plus
  • Roles & Privileges: Author, Enhanced Folder Administrator, or Company Administrator

Do this step by step

Open the presentation editor

  1. Click Content in the top menu and select My Content.
  2. Search and filter your Presentations to locate the presentation you'd like to edit.
  3. Click the three dot button on the presentation and select Edit.

Enable sharing and embed access

  1. Click the gear icon to open Settings.
  2. Click the Player tab in the left menu.
  3. In the Viewers Can section, check the Share presentation box to enable sharing.
  4. Check the Embed presentation box to enable embedding.
  5. Click Save.

Generate the embed code

  1. Click Content in the top menu and select Content Portal.
  2. In tile view, hover over a presentation tile and click the share icon. Or in table view, click the three dot menu next to a presentation and select Share.
  3. Click the Embed code tab.
  4. Choose the size of the presentation thumbnail.
  5. Copy the HTML code to paste into your website.

Tip: If you have enabled viewers access to the embed code, viewers can generate it themselves by clicking the three vertical dots in the lower right-hand corner of the player and clicking Embed.
