Key features

  • Update slide images without losing existing narration
  • Maintain your configured animation timings
  • Replace a specific slide or the entire deck

Note: Content changes must be made in your source application, such as PowerPoint or Google Slides, before uploading the updated file to replace existing slides.

You need this to succeed

  • Plan: Bigtincan Authoring, Bigtincan Essential, Bigtincan Standard, Bigtincan Standard Plus, or Bigtincan Elite
  • Roles & Privileges: Author or Administrator
  • Folder Permissions: Author for at least one folder
  • Prerequisites: A replacement PowerPoint or Google Slides file

Do this step by step

  1. To replace slides in your existing presentations, click Content in the top menu and select My Content.
  2. Search and filter your Presentations to locate the presentation you'd like to edit.
  3. Click the three dot menu on the presentation and select Edit.
  4. Click the Slides menu on the top left of the page.
  5. Select Replace slides from the drop-down menu.
  6. Select the slide number where the replacements should begin.

Note: The number of slides in your replacement file must adequately reflect the number of slides you want to replace.

Tip: If you are replacing the entire deck, start at slide one.

  7. Click Next.
  8. Upload your replacement file and click Next.
  9. Review the changes in the preview window.
  10. Click Save to process the updates. A confirmation pop-up will appear.
  11. Click Replace to confirm the permanent update.

Note: Always make a copy of your original presentation before making any changes, as all modifications are permanent and cannot be reversed.

Tip: You can upload your corrected slides as a separate, temporary presentation and use it as your replacement source. Then, delete the temporary presentation once updates are confirmed. This allows you to test changes before committing them to your primary presentation.
