Do this step by step
Open the presentation editor
- To translate the slide notes in your existing presentations, click Content in the top menu and select My Content.
- Search and filter to locate the presentation you'd like to edit.
- Click the three dot menu on the presentation and select Edit.
Add slide notes
- To add slide notes, click the slide in the slide navigator on the left.
- In the Slide Properties panel on the right, click the Notes tab.
- Add your slide notes in the text box and click Save.
Translate slide notes
- Select the specific slide you want to translate.
- In the Slide Properties panel on the right, click the Notes tab. Make sure your slide notes are entered correctly, and save any changes.
- Click the three dot menu located at the top.
- Select Translate notes from the dropdown menu.
- Select the current language of slide notes in the Translate from field and your desired language in the Translate to field.
- Click Translate to permanently replace the slide notes with the translated text. Click Replace to confirm.
- Translation may take a moment. Once it's complete, repeat the process for the rest of your slides.
Generate speech from slide notes
- Go to the slide where you want to generate audio.
- In the right sidebar, open the Slide Properties section and click the Notes tab.
- Click Generate narration above the notes field.
- In the Voice library, select a language. By default, this is set to AuthoringAI — Brainshark's built-in AI voice engine. Leave this as-is unless your organization has custom voices configured.
Choose your preferred voice from the available options.
Note: Selecting a different language here will not change the language of the generated audio, it only filters the available voices.
- Click Generate and save.
