Do this step by step
Add slides
- To add slides to your existing presentations, click Content in the top menu and select My Content.
- Search and filter your Presentations to locate the presentation you'd like to edit.
- Click the three dot button on the presentation and select Edit.
- Click Slides on the top left of the screen.
- Click the Import Slides drop-down menu. If importing slides, select Upload files, Google Slides, or Brainshark to determine where you import slides from.
- Confirm that your selected file appears in the window, then click Upload.
- Wait for the file to upload and convert.
- You can add a question, a video, or web content to your presentation to enhance user engagement from the Slides drop-down menu.
- Select Question to add a question slide.
- Select Video and Record video or Upload video.
- Select Web content to add an external web reference. Add a slide name and a URL, then click Save. You can also upload an HTML5 file here. To do so, drag and drop the file then click Upload.
Note: Common supported file types for upload include ppt, pptx, mov, mp4, jpg, gif, png, pdf, txt, and doc.
Tip: You are all set once you see your newly uploaded file appear in the main viewing screen.
Reorder slides
You can reorder slides after uploading.
- Click and drag a slide thumbnail to your desired position in the side panel.
- Changes are automatically saved.
Copy slide content from other presentation slides
Authors can select specific slides to copy into their current presentation.
- Click Content in the top menu and select My Content.
- Locate the presentation you'd like to edit.
- Click the three dot menu on the presentation and select Edit.
- Click the Tools menu on the top left of the page.
- Select Merge slide content from the dropdown menu.
- In the Current presentation section, select the slide you want to replace with the source slide content.
- In the Source section, select the Presentation to copy slides from.
- Next, select the source slide.
- In the Source’s Slide content section, select the types of content you want to use from the copied slide and click Replace.
- In the Current presentation section, you’ll see a check mark in the Replaced column next to the selected slide.
- Click Save.
