Yes, with adjustable Playback Speed in Brainshark, viewers can change the speed at which a presentation plays.
This feature must be enabled by the presentation author on a per-presentation basis within the Modern Authoring Settings (under the Player tab). Once enabled, viewers can select their preferred playback speed from the Playback Speed menu in the bottom right of the Brainshark player.
To enable this option in your presentation:
- Locate the presentation and enter the Modern Authoring edit mode.
- Click on the gear icon in the top right to open the Settings menu.
- In the menu on the left, choose Player.
- In the section called Playback/Navigation, check the box labelled "Adjustable playback speed" to enable this option.
- Click Save in the top right to finalize your changes.
Notes:
- The feature supports slide audio, videos, and slide captions on all slide types.
- It does not support slide animations (animated elements will appear as if already triggered), the audio percent-completion criterion (since timing varies with speed changes), or HTML5/SCORMed content (which are self-contained and unaffected).
