Set up the Seismic integration

Configuring the Seismic integration allows you to embed Brainshark learning and coaching pages directly within the Seismic platform. This streamlines your sales enablement experience by providing easy access to training, synchronizing usage data for integrated reporting, and enabling global search across both platforms.

  • Plan: Bigtincan Basic Content, Bigtincan Basic Learning, Bigtincan Basic Readiness, Bigtincan Content, Bigtincan Elite, Bigtincan Essential, Bigtincan Readiness, Bigtincan Standard, Bigtincan Standard Plus
  • Permissions: Administrator in both Seismic and Brainshark

Do this step by step

Enable app extensions in Seismic:

  1. Locate the Brainshark integration app in the Seismic App Catalog.
  2. Click the app install option.
  3. Enable the toggle control next to each integration feature you want to use.
    You can enable embedded learning and coaching pages, integrated reporting data sync, and global search.

Configure integration features:

  1. Navigate to the app Configuration page.

    Note: The Seismic tenant account automatically links to your Brainshark account on your first visit to this page. When prompted, enter your Brainshark Company Administrator credentials.

  2. Enable the Permit Seismic to Connect to Brainshark toggle.
  3. Enable the Embed Pages toggle.
  4. Enable the Share Usage Data toggle, then review and accept the terms and conditions.

    Note: Data begins synchronizing immediately, but it may take up 24 hours to appear within LiveInsights.

  5. Enable the Search Seismic toggle.
  6. Click Apply to save your configuration settings.
