Do this step by step
- Log in to your Salesforce environment.
Open a new tab in your browser and paste the provided Salesforce installation link.
Note: If you are installing the package in a sandbox environment, ensure that your installation link begins with test.salesforce.com rather than login.salesforce.com.
- Select Install for All Users and click Install.
- Select Yes, grant access to these third-party websites, then click Continue.
- Wait for the installation to process and click Done.
Note: This application can take a long time to install. You will receive an email after the installation has successfully completed.
Pre-Approving the Bigtincan App in Salesforce
Before your organization can connect the Salesforce integration, a Salesforce administrator must pre-approve the Bigtincan app within Salesforce administration. This is a one-time setup step required to authorize the Bigtincan connected app to access your Salesforce org.
To pre-approve the app, follow these steps in Salesforce:
- Log in to Salesforce as an administrator.
- Navigate to Setup → Apps → Connected Apps → Manage Connected Apps.
- Locate the Bigtincan app in the list of connected apps.
- Click Edit Policies next to the Bigtincan app.
- Under the OAuth Policies section, set Permitted Users to Admin approved users are pre-authorized.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
