Evaluate submissions and manage leaderboards

Reviewing participant submissions allows you to provide constructive feedback and grade essential communication skills. Using a leaderboard highlights top-performing takes, giving your team prime examples of successful pitches to learn from. This article is for Activity Creators, Head Coaches, and Reviewers.

  • Plan: Bigtincan Basic Content, Bigtincan Content, Bigtincan Elite, Bigtincan Essential, Bigtincan Standard, Bigtincan Standard Plus
  • Permissions: Activity Creator, Head Coach, or Reviewer

Do this step by step

Evaluate a submission

  1. Click the Coaching tab.
  2. Click the title of the activity you want to review.
  3. Click Select Participant and choose a participant from the left menu.
  4. Click the Play icon to watch the video submission.
  5. Click Review to score a new take, or click Edit Review to update an existing score.
  6. Rate the submission and enter your comments for each feedback category.

    Note: If a grading scale is in place, you are required to enter a score for each category.

  7. Enter an overall summary in the General Feedback box.
  8. Click Submit.

Note: When a submission requires multiple reviewers, it remains on your pending review list until all reviewers have finished. You can clear it in the Activity Reviews view at any time by deleting the activity or setting it to inactive.

Manage leaderboard submissions

  1. Click the Coaching tab.
  2. Click the title of the activity.
  3. Click Select Participant and choose a participant from the left menu.
  4. Click Review or Edit Review.
  5. Click the Add To leaderboard toggle to turn it on and feature the submission, or toggle it off to hide it.
  6. Click Save.

Note: The leaderboard setting must be enabled for the coaching activity before you can add submissions.
