Unable to find the new channel in the content tab

If you have created a new Channel and you are unable to find it in the Content tab, this is most likely because you have not provided View permissions to it.

To resolve this:

  • Go into the Platform Configuration and navigate to Structure
  • From the Tabs select the Channel you created
  • You will notice that there are 0 Groups assigned
  • Under Groups click on the + icon

 

  • We recommend selecting a Group over an individual User
  • Find the Group and then click on the + icon, you can select multiple Groups at once
  • Once finished, click Add # Groups
  • Select the appropriate permissions in the dropdown box
  • To save click Add Groups

 

Provided that you are a member of the Group that you just added, you should now be able to see the Channel in the Content tab.
