Do this step by step
Search for presentations
Use the search tools to locate and filter presentations across your Content Portal, Favorites, and My Content tabs.
- Navigate to the Content tab and select either Content Portal, Favorites, or My Content.
- If searching the Content Portal, scroll down to below the Featured Content section.
- Enter keywords into the search box and press Enter.
Note: This search scans multiple fields, including presentation titles, presentation ID numbers, presentation descriptions, slide titles, author names, folder names, chapter titles, tag descriptions, and topic descriptions.
- Narrow your search by using the filters to the right of the list. If you do not see the filters, click the Filters button in the upper right. Select an item from the filter’s drop-down menu to show only that selection. The available filters are:
- Folders: Select a company folder or a user folder from the list.
- Tags: Select a tag from the list.
- Authors: Select an author from the list.
- Click the view options buttons to switch between card and table view.
- In table view, click the column headers Title, Last modified, and Views to sort by ascending or descending order. The table view columns are:
- Title: The title of the presentation.
- Type: The content type.
- Last modified: The date the presentation was last edited.
- Views: The number of times the presentation has been viewed.
- Login: Indicates whether viewers are required to be logged in to Brainshark to view the presentation.
- Active: Indicates whether the presentation can be viewed via the presentation URL. Click the Filters button to reveal this column.
- In card view, to sort your search results, click the words next to Sort By and select an option from the drop-down menu. Click the arrow next to the option to sort by ascending or descending order. You can sort by: Last Modified, Title, or Views.
Search as an Administrator
Administrators can search for all company content and coaching activities across the entire organization, including inactive or archived files that are hidden from standard users.
- Click your profile drop-down menu and select Administration.
- Click Content in the left-hand menu.
- Select Manage Content.
- Enter keywords in the search box to find presentations or courses across your organization.
