Exporting report data via SFTP allows you to automatically send Scorecards snapshot data to a secure external location on a specific date and time. This helps you securely manage and transfer your reporting data without relying solely on manually scheduled email deliveries.

• Plan: Bigtincan Basic Content, Bigtincan Content, Bigtincan Elite, Bigtincan Essential, Bigtincan Standard, Bigtincan Standard Plus
• Permissions: Company Administrator, Group Manager, or Learning Author
• Prerequisites: You must request this feature through Bigtincan Support or your Customer Success Representative to receive your directory location and credentials

Do this step by step

Request the SFTP snapshot option:

1. Contact support@bigtincan.com or your Customer Success Representative to request the SFTP snapshot option.
2. Wait to receive your directory location and SFTP credentials.

Export data via a single panel:

1. Click Scorecards in the top navigation menu to open Scorecards in a new browser tab.
2. On the panel you wish to export, click the three dot menu in the top right corner.
3. Select Create Snapshot.
4. In the Create Snapshot window, enter an appropriate name for the snapshot and click Next.

5. Select the frequency and other properties related to the date and time of execution and click Next.

   Note: You do not need to select recipients if you plan to use only the SFTP data export.

6. Select SFTP + CSV as your export option.

   Note: Ensure you select both the CSV and the SFTP options.

7. Preview your data and click Create.

Export data via a layout page:

1. Follow the same steps as above for a single-panel export.

   Note: When exporting an entire layout, a zip file can also be included within the SFTP transfer.

2. Configure an optional directory:

   Tip: To take advantage of a file directory structure, you can deposit files in folders other than the root directory using the Optional Directory field on the FTP settings page.

3. Locate the Optional Directory field when filling in your FTP settings.

4. Enter the folder name, such as 'upload' or 'incoming'.

   Note: Do not include http://, ftp://, or / in the optional directory setup. Incorrect formatting will result in a 'No such directory Error code 550' message.
