Why doesn't the “Score to Viewer” option in a presentation save? 

The Author of a piece of content can enable the Score to Viewer setting on a presentation to show a viewer their current score. The “Score to Viewer” option will display the current score to the users taking the training. If you are trying to select the "Score to Viewer" option on a presentation and it is not saving, this article will walk through how to resolve this.

The "Score to Viewer" option will not save if the presentation doesn’t have at least one examination slide with a score associated with it. Question slides can be added via the “Add a Question” option under the Things you can do Menu. (How To Add Questions, Polls and Surveys to a Presentation)

Once you have at least one question slide, the Score to Viewer setting can be enabled by following the steps below:

1. Navigate to the Edit mode of the presentation
2. Select the Options tab at the top of the screen
3. In the Display section, mark the checkbox next to Score to Viewer
4. Click Save or Apply
