As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering the highest levels of reliability, scalability, and performance, we are migrating certain supporting workloads in the Brainshark platform from our existing data center to Amazon Web Services (AWS). This is an important step forward in modernizing our infrastructure, and we want to ensure a seamless transition for you. After this change, Brainshark remains fully Soc2 Type II and ISO27001 compliant. Additionally, AWS is the gold standard in enterprise security, maintaining its own rigorous SOC2, ISO, and FedRAMP certifications.
In order to facilitate this change there are two things of which you need to be aware:
- There will be a planned maintenance window when we do the final cutover to AWS. We will follow our standard notification process for this maintenance window.
- If your IT team currently allowlists any IP addresses associated with Brainshark, they will need to take the steps listed below.

ACTION REQUIRED
To maintain uninterrupted access to Brainshark, share this info with your IT or network security team and ask them, if they determine it is necessary, to allowlist both IP addresses below before June 27, 2026.

At this time, do not remove any already added IP addresses. We will send a follow-up communication once the migration is complete.
INBOUND TO BRAINSHARK (Your Environment → Brainshark)
All traffic from your network to Brainshark — including web traffic (ports 80/443) and SFTP (port 22) — will be routed through the IP Address 16.147.132.85
Examples:
- Browsing and interacting with Brainshark content
- Uploading files to our SFTP server
OUTBOUND FROM BRAINSHARK (Brainshark → Your Environment)
All traffic originating from the Brainshark platform to your environment will come from the IP Address 54.68.21.139
Example:
- Pushing reports to your SFTP server

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is changing?
As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering the highest levels of reliability, scalability, and performance, we are migrating certain supporting workloads in the Brainshark platform from our existing data center to Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Why is this change taking place?
Moving these workloads to AWS will improve the overall reliability, scalability and performance of the Brainshark platform. It will also serve to further centralize the supporting infrastructure of all Showpad products, enhancing our ability to effectively monitor and maintain our environments.
Will we experience any downtime, data loss or other disruptions as a result of this change?
It is not anticipated that there will be any downtime associated with this change beyond our normal maintenance windows.
Will there be any impacts to my experience using Brainshark as a result of this change?
No. From the user perspective this change should be seamless and only result in a better overall experience.
Will users of Brainshark that I manage need to take any action as a result of this change?
No, there will be no action required from end users of the Brainshark platform. The only changes required are those listed in the announcement email, and this will be performed by the IT teams of the respective customers.
Should I make any other changes to our allowlist at this time other than adding these IP addresses?
No. At this time, do not remove any already added IP addresses. We will send a follow-up communication once the migration is complete.
How do I know if my organization currently has an Brainshark IP addresses allowlisted?
Common reasons your IT team may need to add Brainshark IP addresses to an allowlist include uploading files to our SFTP server, network security restrictions that may impact browsing and interacting with Brainshark content, or pushing reports from Brainshark to your SFTP server. If you are unsure, send the information in this article to your IT team who can confirm.
What happens if we don't update allowlists by June 27, 2026?
If your organization requires Brainshark IP addresses to be allowlisted, this may impact users' ability to access Brainshark.
Will Brainshark’s SOC2 compliance be impacted by this change?
No, there will be no impact to Brainshark’s SOC2 compliance.
Will this change result in additions to Brainshark’s sub-processors?
No, AWS is already a sub-processor of Brainshark.
Which workloads are migrating in this change?
We will be moving infrastructure related to hosting the web content for the Brainshark Platform, processing powerpoint files, downloading content and certain other ancillary tasks.
What data will be migrating as a result of these changes?
All customer data that supports Brainshark presentations will be migrated, with the exception of video files and some other ancillary data which will continue to reside on Azure for the time being.
Will migration result in changes to data residency?
Data will remain in the United States, and reside in the US West 2 (Oregon) Region of AWS.
Will my data continue to be encrypted and secure?
Yes, all data storage will continue to be secured to Showpad’s high standards and all data will remain encrypted and secure.
Will there be additional workloads migrated in the future?
Yes, at a certain point in the near future, we will also be migrating workloads and data currently running and stored in Azure to AWS. This will include certain additional ancillary services that support Brainshark functionality. We will send similar advance notifications of this migration work.
