What’s changing in the Zunos admin app

The Zunos admin app will soon have a new look. Every page will follow the same design system. Buttons, tables, and dialogs will look and work the same across the admin app. Your features will still be there, and some are organized differently.

This article shows you where things will move to so you can find your way around on day one.

Note: The new admin app experience is going live November 9, 2026. If you would like to opt out of the new experience, contact your Customer Success Manager.

When this happens

  • November 9, 2026: The new admin app rolls out to everyone who hasn't opted out.
  • Early 2027: Everyone will move to the new admin app.

Note: You can roll back the new experience after it’s enabled. Contact your Customer Success Manager if you’d like to request the old experience.

Note: Some future enhancements and features will only be available in the new admin app.

Changes that may affect your workflow

If you use scripts, browser automation, or internal step by step guides, check these first. Some button positions and labels will change.

  • Compose replaces New Message.
  • Create buttons, such as New user and Create event, are now at the top right.
  • On an event's Attendees tab, Edit Attendees and Bulk Register users are now icons.
  • On a leaderboard user row, the Options button is now a three dot menu.
  • On a user’s page, Delete is in the three dot menu. It is no longer a trash icon.

What will change in every area

Across the app, you'll notice the same updates:

  • Page titles now appear on the page, not next to the logo in the header.
  • Breadcrumbs help you navigate forward and back within the admin app.
  • Buttons, search, and filters stay in the same places across pages.
  • Filters are available to find users and events.

Where things will be

Forms Inbox, Assignments, and Drive already use the new design, so you won’t see changes in those areas. The left main icon menu remains the same. Use the sections below to find what you're looking for.

Home

  • Info cards now appear in this order: Summary, Users (30 days), Recent User Activity, Calendar, Top Content, Usage Today, Usage This Week, Top Users, and Top Activities.
  • Charts are more descriptive. Hover over them to see more details.
  • Click a date on the calendar to see a list of that day's events. Hover over an event in the list for more details.

Communicate

  • To open a message, click its subject. Or click the three dot menu in its row and select Open.
  • Click Compose, choose a template, then set up and write your message. This replaces the New Message button.

Leaderboards

  • The three dot menu on a leaderboard row lets you choose View in Drive or View.
  • On a leaderboard, the Options button on a user row is now a three dot menu.

  • Use Filters to narrow the list by set or custom field.
  • On an event’s Attendees tab, the Edit Attendees and Bulk Register users buttons are now icons.
  • An event’s Settings are now organized into cards: Details, Date & Time, Location, Images, Attendance, Notes, and Custom Fields.

Reports

  • Report categories are cards. Click anywhere on the card to expand it.
  • A report’s settings are now grouped into Settings, Report Parameters, and Report Request cards.
  • On Scheduler, use the three dot menu on a scheduled report to Edit, Request Now, or see History.
  • Monthly settings are now grouped into Report type, Groups, Custom Fields Breakdown, and Settings cards.

Users

  • The Import / Export and New user buttons are at the top right.
  • Status is a toggle. A shield icon marks an organization admin.

  • A user's page now has four tabs: Details, Groups, Settings, and Information. The Information tab holds Devices, Messages, Quizzes, Events, Achievements, Courses, Scorm Records, and Media.
  • You’ll find the Delete option in the three dot menu on a user’s page rather than as a trash icon.

Settings

  • Settings now has a search box in the main menu. Pages are grouped into Organization, Branding, Access & security, Communications, and Data & content.
  • Organization includes Global, Organization, Subscriptions, and Engagement.
  • Branding includes Image library and Navigation.
  • Communications includes Sender emails and Registration. Registration portals are now called Registration pages.
  • Data & content includes Custom Fields, Lists, Dashboards, Rewards, Broadcast Channels, and Integrations.
