Why can I still view a presentation from the URL link after it has been made inactive?

You may be able to still access a presentation and view it as it appeared before it was made inactive by clicking the provided URL link from Brainshark.

In some cases, users may be able to view inactive content from URL links if they open the link in the same web browser that they have logged in to their account with. If you're able to view a presentation through the Brainshark content player even while it's inactive, it may be due to one (or more) of the circumstances listed below:

  • You are logged in as the author who created the content
  • You have Folder Administrator privileges to the folder the content resides in and are logged in
  • You are logged in as a Company Administrator for your organization

End-users without Brainshark accounts, or users without any of the proper permissions listed above, will still receive a text prompt informing them that "The presentation you have selected is not currently active. Please try again later" and will not be able to view the content.
