About Alternate File Share:
Alternate file share allows users to upload a different version of the asset to share with clients via email. Only files that can be opened within the imSMART app are supported. This works well when sharing assets that may be restricted by email clients due to their file size.
Adding an alternate file to an existing asset:

Assets -> Select Existing Asset -> Select "Sharing" from left menu --> Alternate File Input -> Select file to upload
- Under Alternate Asset Behavior, select one of the following:
- Do Not Download to Device: Asset will not be downloaded locally to device and only the original file that is downloaded on the tablet can be viewed using the Open in feature.
- Download to Device: Asset will download locally to device and will be able to be viewed using the Open in feature.
