Search for an Asset

If you aren't sure where an Asset File is located, or can only partially remember the name of the Asset file, you can perform a search to find it.

 

You can perform a search from two places:

  • the Home screen
  • the Library screen

When you perform a search, the system will look for matches with the Asset title, description, and (if possible) the contents of the file itself.

Home Screen

To perform a search from the Home screen, follow these steps:

  1. Tap on the Search icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Enter your search term or phrase, then tap Enter on your keypad.
    • The system will look for your search term in the title of the file, the description, and the keywords associated with the file.

  3. The search results will be returned so you can select the file that you want to view.
    • You can use the Filter function at the top-right of your screen to help you` narrow down the search results.

Library Screen

To search for an Asset from the Library screen, follow these steps:

  1. Tap on the Library tab on your top navigation bar.
  2. Tap on the Search icon, in the top-right corner.
  3. Enter your search terms and tap the Search icon (or press Enter) on your keypad.

  4. The screen will now display the items that matched your search criteria.
    • You can use the Filters on the left side of your screen to help you narrow down the search results.
