Important Note: Custom tabs is a premium feature and not available on all imSMART platforms. Please contact your app administrator if you are unsure if this feature is available.

About Custom Tabs

A custom tab allows you to add a tab within the app that can link to a specific webpage, segment, folder or asset. To customize the tabs, navigate to:

Customization --> Device Tab Bar Settings 

Default Tabs
Default tabs (Home, Library, Groups, etc.) cannot be removed but can be reordered.

Adding a Custom Tab

Click on ADD NEW CUSTOM TAB

A new tab will be created labeled "Custom Tab" by default. To customize the tab, click on the carrot to the right to expand the custom fields:

Title 
Create a title

Tab Image
The optimal resolution is 96x96. The background layer of the image should be transparent.

Tab Type
Confirm tab function (Web Link, Segment, Folder, Asset) and specify where to redirect the user

Once your desired changes have been made, press Save at the bottom of the screen and it will now be made available on iPads. 

To remove the tab, click Remove to the right of it.

Reordering
Tabs can be reordered by clicking and dragging on the hamburger icon (3 stacked horizontal lines). Any changes will affect all users of the app.
