Linking to Documents & Folders in imSMART

The imSMART app has a URL scheme that can be used to link documents and folders within HTML5 presentations.

The url scheme looks something like this:

com.comparenetworks.as.example://viewAsset?assetId=123456

To link to a particular asset or folder you will need to get the ID. The ID can be found in the url when you edit the folder or asset.

To Edit an Asset from the Assets screen, click on the title of the Asset. The asset will highlight. Click the edit button. From this screen you can update the asset in any way you choose.

Assets can also be edited from Organize screen. Drill down to the asset. Highlight the desired Asset by clicking on the box. Click Edit and the Edit Asset screen will be shown.

https://example.imsmartapp.com/Assets/Edit?id=123456&returnHash=Search%3F%3BSegments%.....

The example ID can be found after the id = in the URL and is bolded.

The Asset ID can also be found at the top of the asset details page:

Once you have the ID then you add it to the end of the URL scheme as shown below.

com.comparenetworks.as.example://viewAsset?assetId=123456
