Navigation Tutorial

The imSMART application was designed to help you quickly navigate through the app. It is organized into the following sections:

  • Home
  • Library
  • Groups
  • Updates
  • Settings

You can visit each of these sections by using the nav bar, located at the bottom of your screen (as shown below).

Home 

The Home screen (shown above) is the default tab you will see when you log into the application.

Generally speaking, the Home screen is divided into Segments. Below the Segments, you will typically see additional sections, such as

  • All Materials
  • Favorites
  • Recently Viewed
  • Recently Updated

Library 

 The Library screen provides several methods that will enable you to quickly scroll through all of the Assets that you have access to.

The Library screen is divided into two sections:

  • Everything
  • Favorites

 

Everything

This section enables you to view all of the Assets that you have access to.

  • The left side of your screen provides a variety of filters that you can use to narrow down the list of content that you see.
  • The top-right corner contains several tools that will let you
    • add items to a Group
    • perform a Search
    • show (or hide) the Folders that contain Assets
    • Filter the list of files
    • control the Sort By preference

Favorites

If you use an Asset file regularly, you can add it to your Favorites.

  • The top-right corner contains tools that will let you
    • add items to a Group
    • perform a Search

Groups

The Groups screen enables you to access the Groups that you created and is divided into two sections:

  • My Groups

Updates

The Updates screen enables you to update the application to sync your files and receive all the latest updates from the system.

  • Content Sync
  • About this App

 

Content Sync

 This tab help you keep all your files up-to-date by syncing your application with the Content Management System (CMS).

About this App

This tab enables you to see your current version number, and will inform you if you need to update the application to a newer version.

Settings

The Settings screen enables you to see the account name you are logged in as, and sign-out.
