How do I move content to a new folder?

You must be the author of the presentation, course, or curriculum you're looking to move, or be a Company Administrator to move content to other folders. In some instances, Learning Administrators and Folder Administrators may also be able to move content on behalf of the author.

To move a presentation from Content:

  1. Search for the content you'd like to move and hover over the thumbnail image.
  2. Hover over the ellipses (three dots) button that appears (see below), then select Folder and Move.

  3. Find and select the folder you want to move this content to from the dropdown.
  4. Click Apply to submit your changes.

To move courses/curriculums in Brainshark Learning:

  1. Navigate to Learning>My Courses & Curriculums via the header in Brainshark.
  2. Check off any course or curriculum you'd like to move using the checkboxes to the left of each row, then click the "Edit" pencil icon above this list (see below).

  3. Select the Change Folder dropdown menu on the window that appears, then select the destination folder.
  4. Click Apply to submit your changes.

To move presentations, courses, and curriculums as an administrator:

  1. Navigate to Administration via the user icon in the top right in Brainshark.
  2. Click Content, then Manage content from the menu on the left.
  3. Check off any content you'd like to move using the checkboxes to the left of each row, then select the "Edit" pencil icon above this list.
  4. Select the Move dropdown menu on the window that appears, then select the destination folder.
  5. Click Apply to submit your changes.

Note: You may move content to any folder where you have authoring permissions. Moving content removes it from the original folder and places it in the new folder - in other words, it does not make a copy of the content. The content retains all of its attributes (including presentation ID, course ID, etc.) so there is no need to redistribute the link or re-enroll any students.
