How do I hide the content tab from students?

Company Administrators have the ability to hide the content tab from end users.

To Hide the Content tab from an individual user:

  1. Click the Administration tab from the drop-down menu in the top right corner.
  2. Select Users > Manage Users.
  3. Search for the user you'd like to edit, then hover your cursor over the their profile.
  4. Click the ellipsis symbol which will be on the right side of the profile. 
  5. Select Roles and Privileges from the drop down menu.
  6. In the Presentation section, make sure the setting Author is toggled off.
  7. Press Save in the top right to store changes moving forward.

 

To hide the Content tab from all non-author users in your Brainshark Site: 

  1. Click the Administration tab from the drop-down menu on the left side of the screen.           
  2. Select Learning > Learning Settings.                                                  mceclip0.png
  3. Locate the setting Hide Presentation Application from users w/o authoring rights: and Checkmark this option.                                                   
  4. Click Save to keep any changes made on this page.
