Bulk Update Course sessions through Batch Enrollment

Previously, when a session had ended, the author would need to add students who joined late, or remove students who did not attend, one-by-one before marking the session complete. This is a time-consuming process for sessions with a large number of students. As a course session author, you will now be able to update the enrollments in a specific session by importing a .CSV file of all students who attended a session.

To Bulk Update Course Event Attendance:

  1. From the My Courses & Curriculum page, click on the ellipsis icon next to the session you want to edit.
  2. Select Manage Course Event from the drop-down list.

  4. Click on the Download template button to download the .CSV file.
  5. Complete the required fields by entering the CourseId, Title, Username, SessionId, and whether or not you would like to add or remove the enrollment within the .CSV file.
  6. Once you are finished entering the information into the file, upload the completed .csv by clicking the Upload .csv button below.
  7. Once the .CSV file finishes uploading, you will be greeted with the message below. Once your file finishes processing, you will receive an email with the results attached.
