How to Manage Brainshark Cookies in Your Browser

For best results when using the Brainshark platform, cookies will need to be enabled or allowed for Brainshark and third-party cookies should not be blocked.

Please see below for instructions for managing your browser's cookie settings:

For Google Chrome

  1. Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the browser window
  2. Select Settings
  3. In the blue search bar type in "cookies"
  4. Select the Cookies and other site data section
  5. In the Sites that can always use cookies section, click the corresponding Add button
  6. In the resulting text field, enter [*.]brainshark.com
    • Make sure the "Including third-party cookies on this site" checkbox is also enabled
  7. If you select the Clear on exit option, its cookies are deleted every time you close your browser

Mobile (Chrome)

If you don't allow sites to save cookies, most sites that require you to sign in won't work, and your saved preferences may not be saved.
You can allow or block cookies for all sites:
  1. On your Android device, open Chrome Chrome.
  2. At the top right, tap More More and then Settings.
  3. Tap Privacy and security and then Third-party cookies 
  4. Select the option:
    • Allow third party cookies.

or you can do for each site

 Go to https://www.brainshark.com on your Android device

  1. On your Android device, open Chrome Chrome.
  2. At the top right, tap More More and then Settings.
  3. Tap Site settings and thenThird-party cookies 
  4. Select an option:
    • Allow third party cookies.

 

For Firefox

  1. Click the three bars in the top right corner of the browser window
  2. Select Options from the drop-down menu
  3. Go to the Privacy and Security section
  4. Scroll down to the Cookies and Site Data section
  5. Ensure Accept cookies is enabled and Accept third-party cookies is set to Always

For Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the browser window
  2. Select Settings from the drop-down menu
  3. Select Cookies and site permissions in the menu on the left
  4. Select Cookies and site data
  5. Make sure Allow sites to save and read cookie data is turned on, and Block third-party cookies is turned off

For Safari

  1. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences
  2. Select Privacy
  3. Deselect Prevent cross-site tracking and Block all cookies
  4. Set www.brainshark.com to Allow

Mobile (iPhone)

SAFARI for iOS (iPhone and iPad)
Step 1: Go to Settings, then scroll down and select “Safari”.
Step 2: Scroll down to “Privacy & Security”

Step 3. Prevent Cross-Site Tracking should be Off

Step 4. Block All Cookies should be Off

Step 5 Scroll down to "Settings for Websites"

Step 6 Tap on Request Desktop Website

Step 7. All Websites should be Off
