Using Single Sign-on Services with Veelo

Veelo offers a SAML 2.0 based Single Sign-On (SSO) or Salesforce OAuth service that allows users to use their organization’s credentials to access Veelo. You can seamlessly integrate Veelo into your enterprise security policies using Okta, One Login, or Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS). This allows your users to sign in using their identity provider (IDP) credentials on Veelo’s web app without using separate sign-in information.

Key Features

  • Use either SAML 2.0 or Salesforce OAuth to authenticate users in Veelo
  • Reduce security threats and sensitive data loss
  • Centralized user, password and authorization management

For SAML 2.0 SSO, you’ll need the following:

  • Premium or Enterprise Veelo subscription plan
  • An IDP service that supports HTTPS and SAML 2.0 with POST binding
  • Administrator access on both Veelo's web app and the IDP

For a Salesforce OAuth SSO, you’ll need the following:

  • Premium or Enterprise Veelo subscription plan
  • Salesforce subscription

NOTE: No further requirements or steps are needed to set up Salesforce OAuth SSO for Veelo.
