To create new users, navigate to Platform Configuration > Users > Groups and then click on the All Users Bulk Import button. This procedure allows administrators add new users as well as associated user roles, configuration bundles and other user parameters.
Create the User Upload File
1. Click on Bulk Add/Edit Users tab
2. Click to download either a sample CSV showing 10 of your users or all of your users
3. Edit the CSV file. Note Import of CSV files is limited to 999 rows per import. The CSV format must be set to MS-DOS when saving from Excel and must contain the same column names as shown in the sample file

Platform:file-encryption | Assign Platform permissions and File Encryption (if needed) Note Platform permissions must be followed by a colon and a value for File Encryption (e.g.- if the user should have access to iOS and Web and use the platform's default encryption the value for this field would be shown as iOS:0,web:0). File Encryption is used on all bigtincan hub platforms and as such the encryption flag is only needed for legacy Android platforms where encryption was an optional system setting. | |
Apple ID | Adding the user's Apple ID will display it in the user's profile | |

| Choose the configuration bundle that you want to assign to the user. The Configuration Bundle name must be an exact match to an existing Configuration Bundle. To learn more on creating a configuration bundle, go to Creating a configuration bundle. | |
Enable Personal Reports | Sets access to the Personal Reports feature. This is a numeric field. Use a 1 to allow the user to create and view personal reports or a 0 to disallow | |
Timezone | Set the timezone of the user. Note The timezone format is TZ | |

Upload the user import file
1. With the Bulk Add/Edit Users window open drag the user import CSV file on top of the window (or click the browse link to open a file browsing window).
2. Configure the import settings
Existing Users | If users with an existing email address are found: Skip- Skip existing users Update- Update existing users Note: any email addresses within the import file that are NOT found will be created as new users. |
Send Invitation Email | Decides if invitations are sent to new users. This should be set to "No" when using SSO or AD/LDAP as the method for provisioning new users. |

3. Click Validate so that the system can preflight the CSV file.
4. Click Import.
Once the CSV has been accepted for processing a link to a status window will be shown at the bottom of the Bulk Add/Edit Users window. A large number of users import may take some time (e.g.- >1 hour for hundreds of users).
