Languages and Translations

A user's default language is set in the individual's iOS or System's settings, and Zunos makes use of this setting when determining what language to show in the interface (e.g. navigation headings). However, the user may interact with Zunos globally, and so require a variety of languages for content and training.  Administrators may enable different languages and cultures for file uploads and content, through choices in the Admin portal. 

Supported Languages:

BTC Learning serves clients on an international basis. In an effort to best support our clients' communicative needs amongst their clients, we offer a diverse range of supported languages, but we do not offer all in the interface. For efficiency’s sake we add languages based on client request. 

Best Practice


User's may override the default language choice from the login screen via the Web App by selecting the drop down menu located in the top right corner.

Language and Culture

This selected language will be used to format dates and strings.

  1. From the Administrator's Portal, navigate from Settings > Organization to access a page similar to the following:
  2.  Locate the section labeled "Language and Culture" Browse through the drop down menu and select from a wide variety of Language and Cultural options. The languages are listed in alphabetical order. *Note: For a quicker search, begin typing the language to be automatically guided to the language.
  3. Select the "Save" option at the bottom right corner of the Organization Section to finalize progress. 

Available Languages

Here Administrators designate the different potential languages for uploadable content. 

  1. From the Administrator's Portal, navigate from Settings > Organization to access a page similar to the following:
  2.  Locate the section labeled "Available Languages" 
  3. Click the textbox and browse through a wide variety of potential languages. *Note: For a quicker search, begin typing the language to be automatically guided to the language. Each additional language will be listed within the textbox. 
  4. Finalize the progress by clicking the "Save" option in the bottom right of the "Organization" section.
