About Bigtincan for Outreach
Bigtincan for Outreach enables users to seamlessly find and attach share links for relevant and engaging content directly within Outreach.

App Installation
Admins can manage the app installations in the Admin section (Administration -> Integrations -> Installed Apps). The Bigtincan for Outreach app is available on the Outreach marketplace and can be accessed here - https://marketplace.outreach.io/apps/bigtincan-v2?store=public, and an "Install App" button would be visible below the app icon on this page for the admin user to install the app. Once the app is installed, an admin user can configure if the app is available to all users or a subset by managing the app Configuration in Outreach.
Admins can chose to make the app available for all users or to a subset of users in the app Configuration for Bigtincan app in Outreach.
Signing in with your Bigtincan account
Once the app is installed, the Bigtincan icon would be added to the toolbar section of the text editors across the Outreach app. Upon opening the Bigtincan app by clicking on the icon, the users would see a sign button. This would open up the Bigtincan sign in page and the user can follow the prompts to complete the login process. Once signed in, the user would remain logged for up to 2 weeks from their last use of Bigtincan app within Outreach.
Note: The sign in period may be different depending on the specific security settings imposed for a given customer.
Accessing the Bigtincan app for Outreach
After the Bigtincan app is installed, it gets added to the toolbar section of the text editors across the Outreach app, so users can easily open the app while working on their email content in various sections in Outreach.
Content
Browse
Users can access their Content Library right within Outreach with options for viewing and sharing content within Outreach. Each file, if shareable, has a + icon against it, for the user to be able to select the desired files and then attach them by clicking the Attach button at the bottom of the page.
Search
Users looking for specific content can use the Search option.
View files within Outreach
There is a “View File” button present against each document surfaced, whether in the browse, search or relevant documents within Genie. Clicking on the View File button would open up the file and the users can view the content without leaving their current browser.
Templates
The templates features, when enabled by the admins, allows users to access email templates provided to them or created by themselves (if allowed) and use it within Outreach. This one click use of templates is a time saver for users and users can continue to modify the email after adding the email template in Outreach.
Ask Genie
Get answers to your questions by clicking on the “Genie” button in the left navigation pane to go the Ask Genie page and entering your questions. Ask Genie, powered by SearchAI, would provide you the answer along with relevant documents and users can also attach the relevant documents section here to attach content to the email.
Share Options
Sharing options can be accessed by clicking on the “Share Settings” button in the left side navigation pane in the Bigtincan for Outreach app. Depending on the sharing settings by the admin, users get the option to specify some of all of the below sharing options:
- Set expiration for shared content
- Include access form
- Download content as PDF
Note: The sharing options should be set before attaching the share link for them to be in effect for the links generated.
Tracking activity on files shared
All files shared using Bigtincan for Outreach would show up in the Share console within the Bigtincan apps. Users can navigate to the share console to view activity on the shared content. If the notifications are setup and enabled, then users would also get the notifications whenever content shared via Outreach is viewed or forwarded.
