If your Company Administrator has enabled the feature, Brainshark allows authors to request guest audio narration to be added to their presentation. This would email the narrator a URL link to record audio on the slides of a selected presentation. These requests can be sent to recipients with or with or without Brainshark accounts.
To request that another person record their voice on a presentation:
- Enter the Modern Authoring Edit mode of the selected presentation.
- Select the Narration drop-down from the top left of the screen.
- Select Request Narration from the drop-down menu.
- A window will populate to enter the recipient email address in the 'To' section.
- Modify the email subject and messaging if desired.
- If the request is going to a colleague with a Brainshark user profile within your Brainshark tenant, you may select the check box labeled 'Require recipient to sign in'. If the request is being sent to a public narrator without a Brainshark user profile, we recommend to uncheck that setting.
- The author sending the request may also select the checkbox to receive a copy of the email directly.
NOTE:
- The author remains in control of the presentation, and the person who records the audio has no rights to edit or modify any part of the presentation other than the audio prior to declaring it complete.
- Once the guest narrator has marked the request as complete, the audio may no longer be modified using the prior link. In that instance a new guest audio request must be made.
- Only one guest audio narration request can be active at a time per presentation. If you generate a new voice request, the previous request will no longer be active, and anyone who tries to use it will receive an error.
