Bigtincan for Salesforce/MS Dynamics
Navigation update
Introduces a more responsive and flexible menu system, enhancing usability across different screen sizes. This update streamlines navigation, separates action items from navigation items, and improves workflow efficiency for sales representatives, admins, and support teams.
Key Enhancements
- Collapsible & Flexible Navigation Menu
- Users can now collapse or expand the navigation menu, improving screen real estate utilization.
- The expanded menu is the default view when accessing an entity (e.g., opportunities, contacts).
- Clicking outside the menu will automatically collapse it.
- External links will open in a new browser tab without collapsing the menu.
- Improved Responsiveness for Smaller Screens
- The navigation system now dynamically adjusts to different device sizes, including desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
- Optimized experience for Salesforce (Tablet only) and MS Dynamics (Full mobile and tablet support).
- External Links in Navigation
- A new External Links section allows quick access to integrated platforms like:
- Bigtincan Hub
- Brainshark (Sales Onboarding, Coaching, & Training Software)
- Zunos
- Links open in a new tab while maintaining user authentication.
- Links are displayed only if the content source is enabled in the CRM Admin App.
- A new External Links section allows quick access to integrated platforms like:
- Improved User Awareness & Context
- The menu now displays the current section name instead of a generic label (e.g., “Company Library,” “Search”).
- When no section is selected, the text area remains blank to avoid unnecessary clutter.

Sharing Improvements
- In the Share Portal, when the ‘Download as PDF’ setting is enabled in a share the download button will be disabled until the PDF version of the file is available to avoid user confusion.
- In the Share Dashboard, when a user applies filters to the list of shares those filters will be remembered and maintained when they navigate to a Share Details page and back to the Share Dashboard so users don’t have to re-apply those settings while looking for a specific share.

Digital Sales Room improvements
- A confirmation modal is now displayed when users attempt to add multiple files to an existing Room informing them which files were successfully added and which files were unable to be added due to settings blocking them from being shared.
- Users can now add a file to an existing Room from the File Viewer, Search results, and Bookmarks pages within the app.
- In-app and push notifications for Digital Sales Rooms are now supported on iOS. Based on user preferences and settings they will now receive notifications on their iOS devices when a viewer accesses a Room or likes and downloads files within the Room.
-
JSBridge API improvements
- The JSBridge API for creating and editing Stories now allows users to upload all file types supported by the Bigtincan Content Hub platform.
-
Support for new Search behaviors
- Deduplication of Search Results: When identical files are uploaded to different locations within the platform we will now combine all of those locations together in a single result within the search results page. This deduplication of identical results will declutter the results page and help users find the content they’re looking for faster.
