Bigtincan Hub for Outlook - Deployment Guide




Bigtincan Hub for Outlook allows you to search, preview and attach Bigtincan content to your emails within Microsoft Outlook. Sales reps get content recommendations based on the context of the current email whether they are composing a new email or responding to one. 

Don't like the recommendations? No problem. Just search for what you're looking for or browse your content library and attach just as easily.


This guide helps the Microsoft administrators to centrally deploy the add-in for their users so the users don’t have to go through the manual process of adding the add-in individually.

This deployment guide is based upon Microsoft’s official documentation on office add-ins deployment that can be accessed here.



  • An active Microsoft 365 Subscription
  • Access to a Microsoft administrator account
  • Activated Microsoft Outlook for your organization
  • An active Bigtincan subscription


Bigtincan plugin for Copilot

Admins can manage the deployment of the Bigtincan Outlook add-in in the Integrated apps section of the Microsoft 365 admin center. Please follow the below steps.

  1. Go to
  2. Sign in with your Microsoft admin user account.

  1. Upon successful sign in, you would be able to access Microsoft admin center. Proceed with next steps.
  2. Navigate to Integrated apps (Settings -> Integrated apps), and Click on Get apps, this would open up Microsoft App source. Search for Bigtincan and click on the Get It now button against Bigtincan Hub for Outlook app. 

  1. Click on the Get it now button on the confirmation screen.
  2. This should now bring up the deployment screen. You can now assign the users that you want the add-in to be deployed to. You also have the option to send email notification to the assigned users. After the user and email notification selection, click on Next.

  1. Review and accept permissions if requested, and click on Next.

  1. Click on Finish deployment.

  1. The Bigtincan Outlook add-in would now be available for the assigned users. This can take a while to complete, depending on the number of users assigned and might take up to a few hours for the add-in to be visible for the users.

  1. To make changes to the assigned users for the Bigtincan Outlook add-in, you can lookup the Bigtincan Hub for Outlook app on the Integrated apps page, open it and go to the Users tab to make changes.
