About the Thumbnail Generator
The thumbnail generator feature creates an thumbnail icon image (200 x 200) of the first page for the following asset types xls, xlsx, xlsm, doc, docx, pdf, pptx, ppt, csv, txt, png, jpg, tif, gif, mp4, mov, m4v. This feature does not work for folders.
To use this feature, when editing or creating an asset, check the "Use Auto Generated Thumbnail"
Note: This feature will only work if there has never been a thumbnail image added manually in the system.
