Modus Communicate web application (legacy view) - Creating and Sending Follow Ups via the Web App

 

For a Single Media Item Sent in Follow Up:

When viewing media:  Once the user taps into the media, they can push the "Share" button (a box with an arrow coming out) in the upper right corner of the pop up.  This will open another box where users will see options on how they would like to share the media:

Tap the "Send as Follow Up Now" option to immediately open up the device email application. If users would like to add this item and more media, choose "Add to Follow Up" and it will hold this media in Follow Up folder until you are ready to send.

Note: When you add media to the Follow Up folder a number badge will appear on the Follow up tab to alert you that there is content there. 

 If you are choosing media from a category or Media Library: Users can also send media content from the category or Media Library. Simply find the media item, tap the plus sign (+) in the upper right corner and a pop up will appear with the same options shown above:

Once users are finished adding to your Follow Up, open the Follow Up tab and push "Send Follow Up" in the upper right:

This will open the email application.  Add the recipient's address, and tap the "send" button.  

 

Sending Follow-ups with multiple documents:

If you would like to pick media and create a multi media Follow Up: Follow the steps above to add media to the Follow Up folder. As the user adds pieces of media, they will see the badge number on the navigation bar increase. 

Once the user is ready to send, simply push the Follow Up button to open the folder, find "Send Follow Up" in upper right and push.  The steps are the same as when sending a single piece. 

If you want to send an entire Agenda as a Follow Up:  

Users will want to open their Agenda and tap the blue circle with three dots in the upper right -- then from the fly out choose the "share" button (box with an arrow).  

A pop up box will appear with the option to "Add to Follow Up".  Once tapped the user will see the badge number on the Follow Up button change to the number of media items they have just added.  (Note: Share Agenda is a different function which you can learn about in Sharing Agendas):

Add your recipient's email address and tap send!
