Media Manager - Asset Library Search Features

 

The Media Library in Media Manager offers a series of search features that helps users finding the content that they need quickly.  

First, tap into the Media Library.  At the top of the page, users can search by selecting all media, or they may select to search by group by tapping into the dropdown and choosing which group to search within:

Navigate to the search bar next to the group selector, type in the term(s) that you want to search for and tap the search button when done:

Users will see their results appear below the search bar on the page.  

Users can can also limit and filter their search results by tapping on the "Advanced" toggle under the Search button:

Users can deselect any of the options to limit their search.  By deselecting Title, File Name, File Type, Admin Notes, or Keywords, users will be able to further filter the search to further locate the assets that they are looking for.  By default, all options are automatically selected when you open up the Advanced search option:

Further filter by selecting Regions, Tags, and Language tags to include or not include those assets that have the Regions, Tags, or Languages associated with them.  Tap "Apply" when done.

You can add as many filters as you would like.  To remove a filter, tap the "Trash" button to the right of the filter.  To clear all filters, tap the "Clear aspect filters" button to the right of the screen.  

Users an also search the text within a PDF or a translated audio file by navigating to the "Search By Text Contents" section, enter the search terms in the search field, and tap the "Search" button:
