Using Veelo Mobile App

The Veelo mobile app makes it easy for you to access your content and training on-the-go, even when there’s no Internet connection available. This article covers how to download and install the app on your iPhone or Android smartphone, as well as basic instructions on how to use the app.

Installing the Veelo Mobile App on iPhone

Go to the App Store on your iOS device and type Veelo in the search bar. Tap GET and then INSTALL and the Veelo app will appear on your device.

 

 

NOTE: You need an Apple ID to be able to download the application to your iPhone. If you don’t have an Apple ID, tap Create New Apple ID and follow the instructions.

Installing the Veelo Mobile App on Android

Go to the Play Store on your Android device and type Veelo in the search bar. Tap Veelo and then INSTALL, and the Veelo app will appear on your device.

  1. Download training and content to your phone: Open the app. Tap on a file or Pak to download it to your phone, then tap it again to view.
  2. See all the content available to you by selecting the All Content from the menu. Sort by Name or Date Modified.
  3. Collections/Folders: Access all of the content in the folder by tapping on it.
  4. Complete your To-Do’s by tapping on the To-Do icon on the bottom center.
  5. Search for content by using the search field above. Our intelligent search provides recommendations for even easier access.
  6. Filter for the content that you are interested in by selecting the filter icon: 


Troubleshooting the Veelo App

App version
If you are having issues with the Veelo app, first ensure that your Veelo app is up to date. Go to the app store and check for updates. If there is a newer version available, you will see it in your apps list.

OS version
Always make sure your OS version is up-to-date. Go to the Settings of your device and check GeneralSoftware Update to check if there any pending updates.

Network connection
Try to update content/download content/log out and log in on a different network. A slow network may be the cause of many issues, as well as a possible firewall. The home network is usually a good candidate as it is usually faster and free of firewalls.

Trigger server sync by logging out and logging back in
When you're still having issues after an update, try logging out and logging back in.

Close and reopen the app
Sometimes, a re-initialization is necessary if you encounter a repeat lag.

Uninstall and reinstall the app
If your Veelo app is still experiencing an error, you can try uninstalling the app. To uninstall on iOS, long push the Veelo icon on your home screen and then click the "x" when the icons start jiggling, then click delete.  Now go to the App store and reinstall the app.  For Android, please follow the instructions on how to uninstall an app on Android.

How much content can I store on the Veelo app?

The amount of content you can store is dictated by your phone's storage availability. When you update your content, Veelo will tell you how much storage space you need to do the update.
